Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 provides an introduction to lifesaving and develop an initial appreciation of water safety, rescue and resuscitation skills and preparation for the Bronze Medallion Award.
Trainees are expected to be able to swim at least 200 meters in any recognisable strokes before enrolling for this course.
Upon completion of all stages of training, trainees that pass the three elementary lifesaving exams will be awarded Lifesaving 1, 2 & 3 certificates issued by the Singapore Life Saving Society.
Aim
To provide preliminary skills and knowledge of water safety, and land-based non-contact rescue.

Pre-requisites:
The candidate must possess the Lifesaving 1 award.
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provides basic training and certification for the revival of lives.
Aim
To provide practical experience in the lifesaving techniques of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and related emergency care.
Minimum Age
14 years or the year in which the candidate turns 14 years.
Bronze medallion is an essential certification for one to be certified as a lifeguard in Singapore. It teaches trainee to respond effectively in water emergencies.
To establish a basic level of proficiency in knowledge, understanding and practical ability for aquatic rescue situations.

14 years or the year in which the candidate turns 14 years.
